I am up to my eyeballs in travel guidebooks. Everything costs money, and that's one thing I don't have a lot of! But it will be worth it.... I can't wait, in just 3 months I will be in Europe for the first time ever. Yesterday (Saturday) I went to the orientation for study abroad programs at SDSU. It was loooong, and much of it didn't apply to my situation. But I did learn a few things - namely, to pack light and be prepared before I get on the plane. I also learned about culture shock, which even though I will only be there for a month I think I will experience. I am nervous about the amount of schoolwork I will have while I'm there, and whether I will have time to go out and explore. I am really looking forward to my time in Paris with my mom, there is so much to do in that city, and the time will fly by. I definitely want to eat eat eat, buy some chocolate, and see as many museums as I can. I also want to see Jim Morrison's grave - I wonder if my mom will be into that?

I'm so excited for you! It is going to be such a wonderful experience... but I will not lie... I am very jealous... hopefully some day I will get this chance... so right now I am just super excited for you... make sure you take lots of pictures... and see everything so you can tell me about it...
